Alex Kohls

Keys, backing vocals

After an Electro and Techno period in his teenage years, Alex is now a big Muse and Pink Floyd fan. He has played keys for over 40 years but still remembers clearly the insistence of his grandma to get to his boring piano lessons as a 6-year-old. Thanks, Granny!

Alex would take his iPhone to a desert island, hoping that Apple Music streaming is available.

Andrew Loken

Andrew Loken

Drums

Andrew grew up as a fan of U2, and was inspired to start the drums as a 16 year old “to be in a band”. After taking the sensible route and going to university, he is now enjoying playing again after too many years. One day he would love to have his first drum lesson.

Andrew would not take any albums with him on an island, because he would be too busy windsurfing, snorkeling and doing almost any other watersport he so loves.

Andy Reid

Guitar, backing vocals

Andy played rhythm guitar in a seminal early 90s Essex indie band Rude Combat. After a long study/work/family-imposed hiatus he is back playing lead guitar in Waitlist.

Bass

James has been bassing it since his early teens, his first band experience was with Smokin’ Loken at 15 years old and after exploring various line-ups over the last few decades he has found himself back in the same rhythm section where it all began….and probably belongs!

Markus Rau

Vocals

Markus grew up in a family to which music has always been a great inspiration. Like Alex he remembers the painful singing and piano lessons of childhood, but is grateful for the experiences and memories. He loves all sorts of music from classic to hard rock and can spend hours talking about bands, musicians and music history.

The albums he’d take with him on an Island are: “Appetite for destruction” by Guns’n Roses, “On Stage” by Rainbow and “Ten” by Pearl Jam
